Swedish Massage
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body. Swedish massage is gentler than deep tissue massage and better suited for people interested in relaxation and tension relief. Swedish massage may loosen up tight muscles caused by daily activities such as sitting at the computer or exercising. It can be very helpful for people who hold a lot of tension in their lower back, shoulders, or neck. During a Swedish massage, the therapist will use kneading, long strokes, deep circular movements, and passive joint movements. These techniques are meant to relax you, stimulate nerve endings, and increase blood flow and lymph drainage.
Mobile massage appointments will include a $40 travel fee for the therapist to provide the session in your home.

Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. Deep tissue massage targets the inner layers of your muscles, tendons, and fascia (dense connective tissue). Deep tissue massage uses many of the same strokes and kneading movements as Swedish massage, but happens at much deeper level to reach muscle groups that lie underneath the superficial layer. Deep tissue massage is best suited for athletes, runners, and people with injuries. It can also work for people with chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. This type of massage facilitates healing by releasing contracted areas of muscle and tissue. It can help increase blood flow to the soft tissues and may help to reduce inflammation. Before a deep tissue massage, you will discuss your problem areas with your therapist. A deep tissue massage can be full-body or focus only on one area. Deep tissue massages begin as a more traditional relaxation massage. After the muscles are warmed up, your massage therapist will begin to work deep into your problem areas. In addition to their palms, finger tips, and knuckles, your therapist may use their forearms or elbows to increase pressure.

Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage is a modality for expectant mothers looking to ease sore muscles and reduce stress associated with pregnancy. Prenatal massage is a type that's similar to Swedish massage as it aims to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots, improve circulation and mobility, and just make you feel good. Prenatal massage is also customized to the needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies. Carrying a baby changes your center of gravity and puts a lot of stress on your back, neck, abdominal muscles, and shoulders. Pregnancy also relaxes your ligaments, meaning your pelvic joints are less stable. It also changes your posture, pulling your pelvis forward. Add to that the extra weight you're carrying and you may end up with an aching lower back. Danielle is a trained prenatal massage therapist who knows where a pregnant woman's sore and swollen spots are likely to be and may be able to provide some relief. She also knows which techniques and areas to avoid to make sure your massage session is safe and comfortable.

Massage Events
When was the last time you found time for yourself? At a massage event, we bring the spa to you! You and your friends get to relax, renew and rejuvenate in the comfort of your own home or place of work. Pick a date, ask a few friends over, and relax or give the gift of massage to your employees. Choose your massage event option below.
Chair Massage
Each guest will receive a 15 minute chair massage. $25 per guest. Minimum of 8 guests to book event.
A $50 deposit is required to secure the date. All deposits are non- refundable. Two weeks notice is required if it is necessary to reschedule your event, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. You may use your non-refundable deposit towards a new date.
Table Massage
Each guest will receive a 30 minute table massage. $50 per guest. Minimum of 6 guests to book event.
A $50 deposit is required to secure the date. All deposits are non- refundable. Two weeks notice is required if it is necessary to reschedule your event, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited. You may use your non-refundable deposit towards a new date.
All massage events will be charged an additional $40 travel fee for the therapist to provide this service in your home.
